The Hindhead A3 Tunnel construction under Gibbet Hill is now underway.	©2007 HERITAGE The intense Luftwaffe bombing campaign in WWII resulted in the need to provide mass shelters for local people. We explore the Foxenden Air Raid Shelter in Guildford which provided cover for 1,000 people.
